Reggae and dancehall singer, Jimbolee, also known as Jimmy Lee, has released a promotional EP titled Top 5, which features some of his top recordings over the years.
Top 5 features Jimmy Lee’s current hit single, Change, along with Bad Mind, My Life, I Wish and Treasure of Love. There are two bonus tracks on the disc, Never Give Up and So Sexy, a track that features the artiste 3 Islands. The seven tracks represent a mix of message music, lovers rock and social commentary. Top 5 was compiled by Lee’s management team 1962 Entertainment and was slated for release earlier this year. However, the COVID-19 crisis forced a push-back of the release.
“The covid crisis isn’t over but we believe that we can now start promoting the artiste once again,” said a spokesman for the management team. “The EP is aimed at promoting not any specific song but at promoting Jim as a talented reggae and dancehall singer whose repertoire spans several albums and singles and in terms of experience, he has performed in England, USA and the Caribbean. Change was released last year and the video is still in rotation so some persons might be drawn more to that track. However, all the tracks are top class.”
