The Jamaica Star brought the news recently that Sean Kingston has ventured into Bollywood, recording a collab with Bollywood singer and music producer, Parichay, titled Saare Mundaye Nu.

The track proved to be an instant hit on YouTube, racking up over a million views in just a few days on that platform.

It also marked an extension of the platinum selling Kingston’s effort to work with other artistes, irrespective of genre.

Earlier in 2017, Kingston did a collab with jailed dancehall star Vybz Kartel, which came after the singer had done collabs over the years with acts such as Justin Beiber, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and Nicki Minaj.

Parichay, in the meantime, is still basking in the success of a collab with Kardinal Offishall, titled Habitaan Vigaas Di.

Kingston’s music manager, Sean “Contractor” Edwards, said he is looking forward to bridging the musical gap between India and Jamaica and to opening up a new marketplace for the local industry.

Sean Kingston is also included on Contractor and Amada Record’s DJ Grid Project: Volume 1, along with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Jethro Sheeran, Damian “Junior Gong” Marley, Stephen Marley, Wyclef Jean, Mojo Morgan (from Morgan Heritage), Capleton among others.
