(New York, Oct. 25): She is one of the sexiest female vocalists in the reggae/dancehall arena in the all-important New York market. Vocally, she is one of the ‘baddest.’ Her name is PG Valentina and she is booked to perform at the upcoming Blue & Bougie party on Sunday, November 17 at Rye Golf Club, Whitby Castle in Rye, New York.
Valentina, who grew up in Stoney Hill, Jamaica, is trending stateside, possessing that rare star quality that record companies look for. She has been turning heads with not just dripping sex appeal, but powerful vocals which she flaunts on her hot new saucy single ‘Cloud 9’ that has racked up thousands of streams on download media platforms. ‘Cloud 9 ‘has received rotation on New York’s top two urban stations, Hot 97 and Power 105.1 FM, a rear feat for a rising artist.
Valentina’s first single ‘Upgrade,’ which dropped in 2017, was produced by Gold selling Emilio ‘Track Starr’ Bowens. The singer was also featured on VH1’s Black Ink Crew series. And Valentina is hot not just on wax but on stage, as she proved with a scintillating performance, opening for Shenseea recently. Her performance, which has been making the rounds on social media, showcased her magnetizing energy.
Valentina recently linked up with Grammy-nominated producer Kemar McGregor who has since worked with her on a cover song titled “When I See You Smile.” Some say she could be the next female artist to make it big in the reggae/dancehall market. Only time will tell.
